World Book Day 2018 - Shakespeare - undaunted by the snow

Thanks to our very own Shakespearean ‘Musketeer’ look alikes, Jennifer and Ruth, ably supported by a team of parents who came in to story tell, World Book Day was hugely enjoyed by all, despite the impending snow forecast!
Much was packed into a shortened day, but there was an array of Shakespearean characters in our midst, the works of the Bard being a dominant theme of the day.
Donations, together with the proceeds of book and cake sales, amounted to £220.
A huge thank you to Jennifer and Ruth, all those parents who volunteered to read or who donated books and cakes and to everybody who helped create some truly memorable costumes.
