Advance warning - Temporary Closure B3108 Lower Stoke
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Urgent Closure of B3108 Lower Stoke (part), Limpley Stoke
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 16 November 2017, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Tarmac to carry out patching work on the carriageway.
B3108 Lower Stoke (part), Limpley Stoke; from its property 4 Lower Stoke to its property 6 Lower Stoke. (This is the section of the B3108 from the bottom of Winsley Hill, under the railway bridge, and for a further 90m or so towards Bath.)
Alternative route:
Via B3108 (unaffected length) – A363 – B3109 – A366 – A36 – B3108 (unaffected Length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs and access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible throughout the works period.
These works will commence on 16 November 2017 and are anticipated to be required for 2 days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
